An Update to Our 2021 Community Giving Program

As we move into mid-November, the community of GSB is aware that many of our long-standing non-profit partners will be seeking our online giving form and grant application.

In this unprecedented year that is filled with so many changes, how organizations share resources and support the community must reflect these changes as well.

In addition to the $100,000 GSB distributed upon the onset of the pandemic through community foundations in this region, moving into next year we will continue to work more closely with these distribution partners to address vital safety net needs such as food, housing, utilities and safety.

As of the writing of this note, our State has stepped back to a Phase 2.1 operating status and our viral levels are rising while simultaneously, our temperatures are dropping. GSB joins with the community foundations and safety-net providers in channeling a significant portion of our community giving to ensure that no one goes without food, shelter, warmth or other truly basic needs.

In the coming weeks, we will be reaching out to previously funded programs to collaborate on available options.
