GSB Welcomes 2 Commercial Loan Officers: Todd Navin & Nova Taylor
GSB welcomes new team members who bring a combined banking experience of more than 65 years
GSB has strengthened its commercial lending services by welcoming two loan officers with a combined banking experience of more than 65 years.
Todd Navin and Nova Taylor have joined GSB as Commercial Loan Officers. They will support GSB’s business services, which offer term loans, owner-occupied and investment mortgages, lines of credit, and SBA 504 loans to companies across Connecticut of all types and sizes.
“GSB has been a partner to Connecticut businesses since 1875, when we were established by local businessmen looking for a trusted lender,” said Timothy Geelan, President and CEO of GSB. “We’re pleased to welcome these two experienced individuals aboard and help our state’s entrepreneurs start and grow their companies.”
Todd Navin has 35 years of commercial banking experience. He has been recognized many times during his career for his commercial origination achievements, and believes he assists the community as a whole when he helps a customer meet their needs.
Navin lives in West Hartford with his wife and two sons. He serves as a trustee for Klingberg Family Centers Inc., a private, nonprofit multi-service agency providing support to children and families across Connecticut. In his spare time, Navin enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
Nova Taylor holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Southern Connecticut State University and has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry. She says this experience has provided her with the ability to respond to her clients’ needs and provide them with financial solutions that fit their individual circumstances. She believes in developing strong relationships with these clients, maintaining a rapport with her business partners, and giving back to the community.
Taylor lives in North Haven with her two dogs, Moe and Yankee.
