Every year, GSB dedicates its holiday/year-end messaging to issues that matter to the community we serve. This year, we are focusing on what we believe will have the greatest and immediate impact: Local, Small and Main Street Businesses.
We are forming a unique partnership with our regional Chamber partners to put our name and our support behind boosted messaging concerning events and activities that feature merchants. At GSB, we believe that small businesses need more than one Saturday a year; they deserve our commitment for the other 364 days as well. |
A message from Tim Geelan, President and CEO.
As we mark the final weeks of 2023, I wanted to take a moment to share the unsurprising news that after nearly 30 years of service to GSB, I have set a date for retirement. With my recommendation, the Board has unanimously approved Kyle J. Eagleson to succeed me as President and CEO in March 2025. To ease this transition, Kyle will continue as COO and take on the role of President effective in January, and I will remain CEO until my full retirement 14 months later. (READ MORE)

Adventure Awaits!

Heather Hackley retires after 28 years.
GSB is grateful for Heather’s 28 years of dedicated service. She joined GSB in October 1995 as its Controller and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in January 2005. She transitioned to Chief Risk Officer in August 2016. While we will miss her greatly, Heather is looking forward to spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and kayaking and 4-wheeling in Maine.
